Purlgrid (https://purlgrid.com) is a website that sells original knitting and crochet patterns as downloadable PDF files (digital content). Each pattern is a one-time purchase (no subscription) paid through Stripe Checkout; prices are shown in USD on the site and charged by Stripe. After payment the buyer sees a thank-you page with download links (A4 and US Letter PDF), a license code (format BNJ-XXXXXXXX) and a pattern code. There are no user accounts and no passwords: the license code re-opens the buyer's library of purchased PDFs on any device at purlgrid.com/library.html, where fresh download links (valid 24 hours) are issued. The site also offers a free in-browser 3D preview of each pattern; the pattern code printed in the PDF unlocks a "knit-along" round-by-round mode in that viewer. Patterns are also sold on Etsy and Ravelry under those marketplaces' own terms. Licence for buyers: personal use only; the PDF may not be shared, copied or resold; buyers may sell items they make by hand from a pattern in small quantities with credit to Purlgrid. Product photos on the site are AI-generated images created from the 3D preview of each pattern and are labelled as such. Digital content: because the download is available immediately after payment, the buyer agrees at checkout that the download starts immediately and that they lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content; we still help with genuine problems (corrupt file, wrong file, duplicate purchase) and refund duplicate or failed purchases on request to [email protected].
